ZENOBIA CORBITT HART
(June 26, 1921 – June 21, 1995)
Zenobia Hart, the late daughter of Mrs. Lillie E. Corbitt and the late Gus Corbitt was born June 26, 1921 in Perry, South Carolina.
She departed this life on June 21, 1995 at 5:00 a.m.
She was educated in the Public School of South Carolina.
Zenobia met and married the late Gerard Hart. From this union four children were born – Carolyn, Franklin, Mildred, and Wayne.
Years later she and her family moved to Philadelphia, P.A., where she resided until her death.
At an early age she accepted Christ as her Savior, at the Oakey Spring Baptist Church in Salley, South Carolina. After moving to Philadelphia, she joined the Enon Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. W.E. Cook.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving mother Lillie Corbitt, 103 years old, of Columbia, South Carolina; two daughters, Carolyn Hart and Mildred Buckery, two sons, Franklin and Wayne Hart, all of Philadelphia, P.A.; one daughter-in-law, Karen Hart; one son-in-law, Eugene Buckery; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gwendolyn Stevens of Philadelphia, P.A., Leomia Johnson of East Orange, N.J., and Asenath Ferguson of Columbia, South Carolina; two brothers, Levi Corbitt of North, S.C., and Wyman Corbitt of Springfield, S.C.; three brothers-in-law; seven sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
